SPRUCE CREEK ACRES is a 2,000 plus acre wilderness development located approximately fourteen miles from Jamestown, Tennessee. This property lies on the Cumberland Plateau and is gentle rolling with lots of hardwood trees. Creeks flow throughout the property making it an ideal vacation getaway or permanent home. Wooded building tracts range 1-5 acres each. All tracts provide immediate access to several hundred miles of trails that lead directly into The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. Spruce Creek owners can choose from forty-five minute trails to day long trails. Elevation on the Cumberland Plateau ranges from 1500 to 1800 feet and some of the more difficult trail sections require steep climbs. Many trails are rated easy to moderate and one of your most difficult decisions of the day will be to choose which trail to ride. As you ride or hike throughout the trails you will find an abundance of natural beauty such as mountain laurel, hemlocks, wildflowers, rock shelters, waterfalls, and natural stone arches.
The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area is a horse lover’s dream with miles of trails. It is becoming an Equestrian Paradise. Hundreds of miles of maintained trails, with spectacular views, make the best riding around. The Big South Fork National Park also offers hiking, swimming, mountain biking, hunting, white water rafting, and canoeing.
